The Technology Foundation BioMed Freiburg - responsible body of BioTechPark Freiburg
Mission
The Technology Foundation BioMed Freiburg is the responsible body of BioTechPark Freiburg which was opened in 1998 and expanded in 2001 and 2016. The foundation simultaneously serves as the coordinating office of BioRegion Freiburg.
The Technology Foundation works closely together with various partners at local, regional and national level to ensure optimum support and development of the site.
Services
Together with its partners and other regional players, the Technology Foundation BioMed Freiburg offers office and laboratory space in the BioTechPark to entrepreneurs and companies in the life sciences field, especially those specializing in biotechnology, pharmacy and medicine | medical technology (BioMed), as well as related fields such as microsystems technology.
The Technology Foundation also offers various forms of assistance and services within the BioRegion Freiburg | BioValley network:
- Contact to service providers, official authorities, chambers, associations, etc.
- Consulting services and network management
- Site marketing and public relations
- Exchange of experience

The Technology Foundation BioMed Freiburg's Board of Management as well as its administration is located at the economic development agency of the City of Freiburg FWTM. This ensures that the activities of the foundation remain closely tied to the economic, innovation, and technological development.
